Privacy policy for WappGrow

This policy describes how the WappGrow Android app and a WappGrow account handle information. It applies to the merchant who owns the account and to staff accounts that merchant creates. No login is required to read this page.
Account data
When you sign in or create a WappGrow account, we store your name, email address or mobile number, and password. The password is used only to authenticate you. If you add staff, we store those staff accounts for your organization.
Caller phone numbers
If you set WappGrow as your Android call screening app, the app reads the incoming caller's phone number through Android's CallScreeningService when a call comes in. WappGrow does not read your call log. It does not block, silence, or reject calls. Every call is allowed to ring as usual.
If you do not grant that role, WappGrow does not collect the caller's number. You can pick a contact or type the number yourself.
Contacts
If you allow contact access, you can choose a contact to add as a lead, and the app can look up the display name of one phone number. WappGrow does not copy your whole address book. Contacts, names, and phone numbers you save as leads are stored in your organization's WappGrow account.
Leads, follow-ups, notes, and WhatsApp messages
Leads, follow-ups, notes, and WhatsApp messages you send and receive in WappGrow are stored in your organization's WappGrow account. Message content includes the phone number and the text of the message.
Why we use this information
We use it for lead management and WhatsApp follow-ups for your own business. We do not sell this information. WappGrow does not show advertisements.
Who we share it with
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business API). When you send a WhatsApp message from WappGrow, the recipient's phone number and the message are passed to Meta so the message can be delivered.
- Hosting and service providers. Companies that host the app and store account data for us, only so we can run WappGrow.
- When required. If you ask us to share it, or if we must disclose it to comply with the law or to protect our rights.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect this information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep account data, leads, follow-ups, notes, and messages for as long as your WappGrow account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Some copies can remain in backups for a limited time after deletion.
Delete your account or data
Email [email protected] and ask us to delete your WappGrow account or specific data. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by law. See also the data deletion policy.
