Privacy policy for OrkaCrew

This policy describes how the OrkaCrew Android app (com.orka.crew) handles information for the person who signs in. No login is required to read this page. The app does not show advertisements and does not use the Android advertising ID. We do not sell your data.
Account data
When you sign in, we receive the name on your account and the email address or phone number you use to sign in. The password is sent only to authenticate you. It is not stored on the phone after sign-in. The app stores an access token and a refresh token in encrypted storage on the device, plus a device identifier used to keep that session.
App usage
Chats with your assistants, team changes, and approval decisions are sent to https://orkacrewapi.orkaapps.com so OrkaCrew can run for your business. That traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. We do not sell this information, and the app does not show advertisements.
When you chat with your assistants, the messages, including any customer names and email addresses in them, are sent from our server to the AI model provider your organisation has chosen in OrkaCrew, so the assistant can reply. The provider processes this data on our behalf only to generate responses and is not allowed to use it for advertising.
Why we use this information
We use it so you can sign in, talk to your assistants, manage your team, and approve actions. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
- Our service. App usage is sent to https://orkacrewapi.orkaapps.com so the assistants can reply and your team can be saved.
- Hosting and service providers. Companies that host the app and store account data for us, only so we can run OrkaCrew.
- AI model providers. Chat content, including customer names and emails in it, is processed by the AI provider your organisation selected, only to generate assistant replies.
- When required. If you ask us to share it, or if we must disclose it to comply with the law or to protect our rights.
Security and retention
Data sent between the app and https://orkacrewapi.orkaapps.com is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep account and app data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Some copies can remain in backups for a limited time after deletion. Signing out of the app removes the tokens stored on that phone.
Delete your account or data
Email [email protected] and ask us to delete your account or specific OrkaCrew data. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by law. See also the data deletion policy.
